Cable Beach Haven is nestled in to the most idyllic Broome location, just a 3 minute walk to the famous Cable Beach. Positioned at the end of a quiet, safe cul-de-sac on the edge of a park, this newly refurbished (July 2020), well-appointed and stylishly furnished house is spacious, light and airy and has a fabulous new resort-style pool. The house is air-conditioned and has ceiling fans throughout. There is an under-cover carport with space for two cars.
The large kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge/freezer, gas cook-top, oven and dishwasher. A funky timber kitchen bench/table seats 8. The kitchen is part of a large open-plan living area, which has comfortable leather sofas and chairs for relaxing in front of a smart TV. Local artwork brings elements of the Kimberley into the space, and timber furniture gives the house a relaxed tropical feel.
There are 3 bedrooms – ideal for 6 adults and two kids. The main bedroom which looks out on to the swimming pool, features a luscious king-size bed, a walk-in robe and ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom also has a king size bed or optional 2 king singles (please advise your preference once booked). The third bedroom has two comfortable single beds, each with a concealed trundle bed. All beds are new [June 2020], hotel quality and presented with crisp white linen.
Surrounding the house is a wide shady verandah looking out on to the fragipani courtyard and the beautiful aqua swimming pool. The outdoor dining table seats 8 chairs, and there are comfortable cane chair settings enabling you to enjoy the balmy Broome climate. You can also relax indoors and enjoy the ocean breezes through fly screen doors.
We also have a studio adjoining Cable Beach Haven , which sleeps 2 people. It has it own separate entrance, outdoor living areas and facilities. You can view the studio on Stayz property no.9475381. If you’re looking for a place to sleep 8-10 people, or want to holiday with friends or family but want a bit of separation then the studio might be of interest to you. You can check the studio website and see if the studio is available.
A short walk through the local park takes you to the tourist precinct of Cable Beach where you will find: the spectacular Cable Beach where you can hire beach umbrellas, deck chairs and other beach equipment; Cable Beach Club Resort with its quality restaurants and iconic Sunset Bar (a must-visit venue to watch the sun set over the Indian Ocean); the Broome Surf Club Bar for well-priced sunset drinks (Wed-Sun) and the best ocean views in Broome; The Zookeepers Store (restaurant/cafรฉ); Zanders restaurant, which overlooks Cable Beach; Broomeโs famous camel rides; Blue Body Buddha Sanctuary for fabulous yoga classes; Divers Tavern (bistro, sports bar, beach bar and bottle shop); Cable Beach General Store โ stocks all essentials.
The local bus stop is only a 2 minute walk away. The Broome Town Bus service takes you into the heart of Chinatown and to Town Beach โ two more great areas of Broome to explore. If you have a car, Chinatown is only a 7 minute drive. Nothing is far away in Broome! We have new mountain bikes available for hire. Let us know when you arrive [or in advance] if you are interested in bikes for your stay.
